Helping Hand initiative
Our goal is to provide meaningful assistance where it’s most needed. We’ve established a platform to promote volunteering opportunities within care homes-encompassing a variety of areas where support is beneficial.
It involves helping in all sorts of different ways. These could range from just spending time with the residents, having good conversations with the people and keeping them happy and stimulated, playing games, assisting with feeding, doing arts and crafts activities, helping with activities around the home, and helping with the garden, etc. The list is endless. Indeed, volunteering in a care home could be very rewarding and fulfilling.
Any age but are usually over 16 years old and from any background.
Unfortunately, we do as we do not provide financial support to an individual. Our volunteering is limited to the Kent area of the UK now.
